The ladies in my Friday Bible study group got together for food and fellowship this morning.
We enjoyed visiting and getting to one another better….just wish everyone could have come.

Once in a while I like to go through my old archived RAW pictures
and pick out one to edit. This picture was taken on Easter 2007, for my first assignment in Wendy’s class.

As many of you know, every Thursday my daughter and her two little guys come over for a visit. We spend the afternoon playing and cooking dinner for Papa and their daddy. Here are a couple of pictures from today’s visit.
I had the big boy lens out for shooting the swim meet yesterday….and shot these pics with it…..hmmmmm I think I like it…..very little editing here….just a little contrast, hue sat, and sharpening :)
Not happy with Mommy’s not letting him pic the flowers.

But all is happy now….

I had fun hanging out at the Swimming Hall of Fame today where a sweet family from my hometown traveled 1200 miles to watch their 14 year old daughter swim the 50 meter freestyle in the YMCA Nationals.
It’s my first attempt at this kind of thing……lots to learn here….but was happy to have the opportunity to slide into the VIP section with the
family and snap away. Thank you Montgomery’s!
If you’re interested you can scroll down and watch me play with water pics taken in high noon sun[not my favorite light to shoot in, but it's always good to be stretched]……but be warned…..there are ALOT!

haven’t a clue who these last few people are….but I do recognize the photog in the last one :)

We enjoyed having John’s parents over for Easter dinner.
The highlight was watching Trey and Brenton interact with their great grandparents.

After lunch, the boys enjoyed hunting eggs.

Once Brenton figured out what to do, he ended up a bucket full of
eggs with goldfish, teddy grams, and jelly beans….

Resurrection Day!
For me, Easter is not one day out of the year on the calendar…. I celebrate Easter by thanking Christ every day that I experience His powerful victory over the stench of death that threatens to rob me of peace of love of joy of hope….of LIFE. Every time I experience His resurrection power at work in me….that is Easter. There is only one way to genuinely experience that power; and that is by celebrating His death, His burial, and His resurrection each day…I am choosing to meditate on these words:
Death brings Life!
Wishing you a wonderful Resurrection Day…..hoping you have found the secret of it’s power through knowing the Savior.
For, only in Him, can this power be found; Christ in us is our only hope of glory!
