Today I went by Trey and Brenton’s house and picked them and their mommy up.
First, we went by my church to drop some sheets and blankets by
for the people in Haiti.
Then, we drove by Goodwill where their mommy left some things.
And then we went to DQ for
ICE CREAM!
I think Trey liked it, don’t you?

How many times when my girls were little
did I hear them yell out “punch buggy
don’t punch back !” when they spied a VW bug…
and then proceeded to punch one another in the arm.
My nephew’s family purchased this adorable VW convertible last summer.
They’re calling it their summer car…
With three kids in the family, it looks like a lot of fun.

When Trey and Brenton came over today I noticed that Brenton was enjoying books a little more.
Until now, he’s been pretty disinterested apart from wanting to steal Mom’s attention away from Trey as she reads to him.

Her name, Joy, aptly fits her…she’s full of life…she’s resilient…who wouldn’t be with 4 big brothers!
Leah mugging for me on a photo shoot in November….unfortunately, some of my best shots were of her :) and not the subject[s] I was there to shoot! The light was just too high in the sky.
But such a lovely spot for a photo shoot.
I kept telling her to lift her sunglasses, because I was looking at her eyes to get the angle just right.
