Leah left for Spain today…
As she prepared for her trip I realized just how much my role as Mom has changed these last couple of years.
it’s all good…but sometimes I forget…not to worry though…she always reminds me :)
One of my favorite times during my trip “home” was having tea at my sister’s house….
I always enjoy the warm, friendly touches I find on her porch when entering her home
and the simple elegance of her table
my favorite part this time, though, was listening to the conversation that Jenna and my sister’s daughters-in-law, Mary Alice and Beth,
engaged in…reminded me of when we were experiencing the season of life they now find themselves in….early years of marriage,
children, etc.
My only regret of tea time was not getting a picture of them at the table!
Is there anything like playing with cousins? Trey loved joining his cousins, Sarah, Andrew, and Emily in play this week as he spent time at Mimi and Pa’s.
He also enjoyed his great grandfather….better known to him as Pa
