grateful

I am grateful for my dad who patiently let me use him for a model this afternoon while I practiced finding and shooting in light. He has always encourage me when he sees I’ve taken an interest in something. In fact, he gave me a copy of Photoshop years ago…..and the rest is history!  Thanks, Dad…..

morning delight

Trey came to spend the day with me all by himself…we have played with calculator learning on/off, sorted things into boxes, read books, and played outdoors although it’s kind of a gloomy day.  He’s down for his afternoon nap now, something he looks forward to because I always play a Bach CD for him :)

gone surfin’

took a quick trip up to Cocoa this weekend so Leah could take a couple of surfing lessons…kicked myself when half way there I realized I didn’t take my long lens to get close ups of her out in the water

here are a few I got…she looks pretty small out there…sorry about that…like I said I wish I would have been able to get closer…she learned quickly and experienced the thrill of her dream come true

John took the opportunity to do a little fishing off the pier
